Scarborough Fair Cello Duet

Rated 5.00 out of 5 based on 3 customer ratings
(3 customer reviews)

Score and individual parts in pdf format ready to print. Listen to the violin and cello duet arrangement on the link below. The cello duet version is similar:

Scarborough Fair

The key is D minor. Turbulent quavers at the start give the feeling of a journey, there’s a contrasting middle section in the major and a bleak, lonely ending.

The arrangement of Scarborough Fair for cello duet is just delightful, really imaginative and a wonderfully skilful interweaving of the two parts – I love playing it! Patricia Ryan

‘An imaginative arrangement with lots of fluidity.’.

I enjoyed playing this piece as I found it flowing melodiously. I even enjoyed playing the chords and double stoppings (which I hate normally) as they were arranged in places where I could manage them.
